Hey, that looks a lot like your other openings! I guess you want to pew pew my base next turn with that Nullcraft? Sadly I can’t deteriorate it.
Also, shouldn’t you be posting your hand/deck etc.? I’m not worried about cheating or anything like that, but it would be good to have a record that someone can look into in case there’s any confusion or we have to roll back something.

Wow, what a blunder. I guess I should read Rook’s card every now and then… maybe I won’t be giving you that tough of a fight after all. But I’ll keep trying.

What a serious blunder. This is going to be an uphill battle from here, all due to my own mistake. I’m teching free speech with the hope of catching him off his guard one turn and remove Rook’s second life when I get attack him. I have some damage on the board so hopefully it will work. I also needed that extra blocker because garg is expensive

Thoughts
So, my plan is thwarted. The worst part is that he can still play earthquake if he wants to next turn. Most likely it’ll be a bunch of runes on ancient or some other enhancement spell to make the birds/nullcraft really big, kill the Garg and then my heroes and that’ll be GG.

It was exceptionally bad play on my part, but that doesn’t take away from your clever play. You were ahead of me at every turn - good luck in the rest of tournament!
I will say that dooming Glaxx is smart, but moreso if you float money. Glaxx can’t die to Vandy-doom as long as you have cash lying around. Dooming Gargoyle generally gets you the same effect, but you can have Gargoyle become invincible during your upkeep before it dies during your upkeep. The death will exhaust it, but it’ll still be on your board.
That seemed like a harsh way to learn that Soul Stone’s not great against Prynn, and a harsh way to get reminded of Rook’s midband ability. But you and I will hopefully remember in the future!
I think Bob’s smartest play was teching Entangling Vines early. He knew he was going to be taking advantage of midband Rook, so he went for it.
You can use the money you get during your next upkeep to save the Glaxx from doom. I totally forgot about Rook’s midband ability which was terrible, I and I have come across Prynn’s anti soul stone play but didn’t think about it here. It’s expensive but can be effective if he’s removing you’re only defender.
Bob also toyed with me regarding earthquakes- he threatened it by damaging my buildings and teched it early but didn’t play it. So I had to worry about it constantly. It was really good play
I’ve seen several rulings that said you can set the timing of things during upkeep, so for example - you can pay for the promise of payment after you get the payment of the next turn, so I figured I can do the same with doom. Any reason why I won’t be able to do that?
