Still not sure how much of an effect 1g deteriorate has had. I felt like it had the biggest impact on white, but that might just be because that matchup was so close to start. White probably shoulda been paired with Black in the boxed sets.

I mean, its not like I would have meta in my next hand, and you could kill Vandy, by maxbanding Oni with enough gold to still worker. Probably a bit extravagant, considering i could then kill oni easily enough. Of course, I also have enough gold to fetch meta…

Didn’t feel like there was much of an opportunity to leverage! Tried to tech aggressively, but you had just the right read on me (and I whiffed on turn 3). Could have just traded him on turn 2 I guess, but…?

I did not reveal the full balance ramifications through my cruddy play, and
The 1g Deteriorate Change doesn’t significantly affect Black’s dominance in the matchup
In general, I agree that it probably most affected the White/Black matchup, and given that black is pretty strong against everything else, it would 100% be worth making the change to make it 1g.
What are your closing thoughts? Do you think we should try blue again to get a better read?
