I got saved by about three lucky topdecks in a row game 7, including drawing a dodge for Acro on the turn MJ thought he landed BU.

Also, I think I realized why the original rules forbade staying in the same MU.
To clarify: my original intent was to allow staying in the MU, as long as it was one of the most even from both sides. You both wouldn’t have stayed in if you thought you could get and edge by switching.

In a fittingly named room,

Pickle was expecting the Perse pick, so I catch him off guard with my relentless aggression, earning a relatively easy win
This game is more even, but Ven goes down to a 5 card hand, after which he is forced to Acro. Gwen’s fast enough to ensure that Ven can’t hand build with 2 pokes, and Pickle can’t manage to recover.
Pickle swaps to Menelker. I land three big early combos before stalling out, but Gwen’s card velocity ensures she can find enough Qs and Jokers to grind out the last few points of damage safely.
I get thoroughly outplayed in a MU that’s Gwen favored, and am forced off the character.
Turn two MC slips under Bonecracker, turn 4 MC undercuts a 3. I strip him of all his 7s by turn 4 and win about three turns after that thanks to a 5 crossup after he powered up for Q followed by throwing his block attempt.

Down to the wire, i could have won off a 7 throw but too scared. You duffing 2 huge comboes with jokers didn’t help
down to the wire again, i get too aggressive and lose.
Your 5 duffs an early DSD, but i recover and win
i manage to almost detrsoy your hand, but you brilliantly turn tables. having 2 jokers that you knew about didn’t help.
Here imo I tilted. you traded cards for health, winning with >40 hp.
I only regret the last round, otherwise imo i did my best.
Oops! Apparently I’m not good at keeping up with tournaments that I’m no longer in.
