Wither that mox away! Even Trade. Birds still feels like the right play, but what else? I think I’ll probably be looking at a HH additionally, but not worth teching something for that right now. Fencer is almost always useful in this deck, let’s do that. I expect Stewardess and/or Boot Camp

My Thoughts
No doubt a second Stewardess is coming, I’ll probably lose a bird temporarily but he has no haste with which to get Rook killed. Only thing that would kill Rook is some combo of Stewardess + Boot Camp or Elite Training, and while that’s a possibility, I don’t consider it likely. We shall see. Discord is great for Peace engine, which still should be the suspected path for him (in spite of Stewardesses). So I feel pretty solid about that. I think Finesse is a good tech 2 choice here, Martial Mastery can help fuel the Fencer spam nearly as well as Peace Engine, Graveyard or Dark Pact, so we’ll stay with this for now.

Interesting… so for sure he has an Origin Story, right? Otherwise I could just double tech Earthquake, ping the remaining buildings, and basically just win XD No I think it’s better to try to take as much board away as I can, try to stay strong myself (Grave is a good addition then), and grab that Martial Mastery + Tech 2 Finesse. Now remembering how Maestro midband works, I think I’ll go for him over Guide to start, as then theoretically I can get 2x Fencer + Tenderfoot to slam buildings from the back (and Birds can pitch in if I only get two).

My Thoughts
I want to keep my tech 2 and Rook, but I don’t see that happening… So despite the somewhat miserable luck of him having a Shimmer Ray AND Stewardess last turn that locks my birds AND killed Grave, compounded with me drawing MM and not Maestro (and not even discord…), I think playing both Fencers but not Tenderfoot allows me to possibly get a reshuffle for a Rook kill (if that’s what he goes for), which I can live with. I need discord + Maestro engine up next turn to really fight back. Lucky for me he skipped worker, so at least I will have the leg up on Tech 3 if it comes to that…
