Aggressive opening, and hard for me to respond to with this hand. Heroes get eaten by Grappling Hook → Aged Sensei buff for a free Grave midband. I actually have a really dumb idea, which is Bloodburn into Mad Man. It actually gets some potential immediate value by pinging off Aged Sensei here. The only problem is that Versatile Style deals with it easily, but then again that means zhavier is teching Versatile Style, which either replaces a Tech 1 or won’t see play for a couple reshuffles. Because this opening answers Mad Man + hero so effectively, I think we’re kinda boxed into BB and it’s worth a shot.

Okay so BRO here in Squad Leader can eat up most of a Savior Monk (with buff from Sensei), that’s a decent trade for me since I can then ping down the Savior Monk. I get 2 gold to play with after Tech 1. Throwing in a Firebat to snipe the Sensei

Okay, decent so far. The two choices now are racing to Anarchy 3 or crashbarrows. Let’s do Barrows and be ready to tech lab into Anarchy because we’re cycling this turn
Okay, decent so far. The two choices now are racing to Anarchy 3 or crashbarrows. Let’s do Barrows and be ready to tech lab into Anarchy because we’re cycling this turn. I could do a lot of damage instead of building Tech 2 this turn, but I think it’s better to hold and cycle.

Well, that’s a bummer. I think it’s time for the Zane swing. And I hate skipping worker but it seems necessary here since I don’t have a 1 drop to stick in patrol. Max Zane, scavenger boot, GPT with the gold.
Hmm okay yeah, I figured I’d push it a turn before folding, and it doesn’t look like I have the tools to turn this around. GG! Kinda wishing I’d teched Sharks…
