Could’ve either defended or gone aggressive. I went for the aggressive play, with an eye for very defensive play next turn.
Hmm didn’t really want to draw both teched cards here… unfortunate.
Ok, slow play from him, I need to ramp up pressure. Can’t let him tech 2 for free.
I’ll take the opportunity to start filling my deck with things I want and then tech reactively next turn.
I find it… unlikely that he preteched crashbarrows. So let’s exploit his weak cycle and tech up. I won’t be getting to tech 3 this cycle, so we’ll wait to put gunships in. For now, we’re still stuffing the deck with things I want, like hero sniping and defence.
I don’t know why I didn’t patrol Rook. That was silly.
Oh well, on with the plan. Got to try and build Tech 3 next turn.
If I get it up, I’m basically guaranteed to win, I think, because even if he repeatedly destroys it, he’ll be hampered by my steam tanks and his lack of cards. Well, we’ll see anyway.

Ah man, bugblatters are so punishing. I can destroy his tech 2 this turn, but if I do, he responds with maxband rook and bloodburn to kill my tech 3. So instead, I’m going to GAMBLE and hope he can’t destroy my base this turn. If I survive this turn (with a tech 3 intact) I basically win instantly! But that’s a big if.
I’m on the knife edge here. I’m choosing to leave Drakk alive so he can’t Behind The Ferns to kill me. I don’t actually think he has it though; only six teched cards in cycle and I would bet it’s crash bomber x2, bugblatter x2, and crashbarrow x2. So I’m removing crashbarrow as an option. Will I survive? Even if I do, will I win next turn? Find out next time!
