I always forget just how efficient fading argonaut is. I can’t aggress this turn, so I’ll just have to wait and bide my time. I need to put enough pressure on that he doesn’t feel safe to tech up on turn 3.
Also I probably should’ve kept flagbearer. That was a mistake.

Thoughts
With Forgotten Fighter and Nullcraft I could take Rook out. But probably I will lose Onimaru, too. AND I have to postpone my Tech I. AND I reduce my handsize. Is it worth it? Tough choice. I could also tech Assimilate to deal with potential Bird’s Nests. Or I try to take Rook out another way for the price of not teching units…
His wall is holding strong, so I’ll go down on cards and get a heroes’ hall to represent a lot of threats. If he chooses to tech up, I should be able to swing tempo in my favour, though I may be a bit short on gold. Looks like I won’t be building tech 2 until turn 5 at this rate.
Obviously I’m putting tenderfoot in elite here so Onimaru cannot attack safely without levelling up. The gunpoint in tech vs scav was a tough decision, but ultimately I think cards are more useful. I could be wrong though, since the heroes’ hall does grant plenty of options. We’ll see if I am a fool.

Hmmm, 3 HP for Taxman and Brother is 1 too much for each. I needed my Battle Suits. But if I want to max Onimaru (which was my top priority) I only have 2 gold to spare. And if I use Boot Camp 2 times to get rid of his units they become quite strong. Tricky again.
I did not expect that. I am in a very bad position. I expect consistent art of war for the next three turns, barring severe bad luck from him. Not good.
Patrolling squad leader in case of battle suits, although nullcraft can just murder zane anyway. Perhaps I should have just midbanded him instead of building tech 2… It’s kind of a bait, but I suspect he’ll just go face.

To give him the gold for free was really stupid. On the other hand: If I play Nullcraft I can kill Zane now without losing it. But then I cannot build a Tech II. Well, I think I will try to rush it now.
Hmm, it’s not unwinnable… I can potentially chaos mirror to victory here, but it’s going to be tight. Wish I’d had it last turn. He’s also going to be building tech 2 next turn for sure, so I have to face that down. Gotta try and get to gunships fast…

Let´s see if that does it. Codex is so brutal, you’re never sure that you thought of everything…
Excellent, all the cards lined up just right for a massive swing. I do still have to be careful of unphase/now!, general’s hammer, and boot camp sideline, but I think at this point my lead is strong enough I should be able to just gunship and win.
Stressful game… I hope I win.
Hi Bomber: Probably I misunderstood some rules: I thought that with Chaos Mirror you just swap the printed ATK, not any ATK gained by runes, attachments or other effects. So I thought that even if you swaped the ATK of Onimaru with an ATK 1 unit he still has ATK 1 + 2 ATK from The Art of War and therefore he would kill your units/heroes with HP <=3 with Swift Strike?
Oh, now I see: Wither. How could I miss that?
Yes, I didn´t worker, hoped to bring it home this turn.
Actually I see that I would have had to discard Hardened Mox, too before I drew (which I didn´t do because I forgot to draw him). Do I have to do the whole discard and draw thing again?
And a lot more important for me: could I also play Mox into the game and not discard him (which I didn´t do because I forgot to draw him)? In this case I would still also play Geiger but bring him to Level 3 instead 5.
Sorry Bomber, your move really threw me off balance
Assuming this is the right thing to do I redid my move accordingly.

Repair Tech I
I’m super confused what exactly the error is here. It looks like you had 5 in hand, drew last 1 from deck as technician, and rs drew 5. I don’t see an issue. Carry on.
