Happy to be P1, and to have Snapback vs. this codex. Less happy to be facing Snapback, and probably virtuosos with Sensei support and maybe Safe attacking…
Gonna go with the classic hero+Sensei. I’m hoping to be the first to play birds, so I suppose I can afford to worker Primus. Long-term I’m thinking Void Stars, but we’ll see.
That’s a nice play around Grappling Hook. Along with the cheaper tech 1, this lets EricF take the initiative. I just hope I could turn that around with birds.

Thoughts
I suspect that early HH means EricF preemptively teched Discord as an answer to birds. That actually takes some pressure off, since I no longer have to keep Rook alive. I could put some levels into him just to bait Snapback, but I think I’d rather float a bunch and tech up ASAP.
If I happen to draw Void Star prematurely, I can bring in Vir to pseudo-stash it.

Thoughts
I was afraid of Fox Primus, and I’m afraid of going further down on cards, but I don’t have a choice.
Drakk goes in technician because, if EricF goes for the kill, he’s either delaying tech 2 again or neglecting his air defenses, both of which I’m ok with.

Thoughts
There’s a small chance that Omegacron is on the top of my deck, in which case I can make lethal. It’s worth trying, at least.
…
Woot! Got it!
Felt very close from my point of view, even though I had the tech advantage. Could’ve gone either way if it wasn’t for that super-lucky Omegacron topdeck. GG WP!
