I think Growth is my game plan here, Boulder / Galina + Birds, then a tech 2 and Mythmaking? Kidnapping won’t work on Nullcraft sadly, but it could be helpful with a Sarge. I’ll have to think on this more, but in the meantime Rook + BROgre feels like a pretty solid start [/details]

I’m still pretty unsure how to approach things here. I feel like I need to better respect PPA’s ability to pick up massive speed. If I’m going with Boulder, I need to be able to answer maxband Prynn well, and respect Zane simultaneously. Really, as tempting as MoLaC is, I think I need to focus on Blood + Arg, as that’s been what I’ve been most consistently successful with. So maybe I end up with a deck that looks like this:
I need to keep him off tech 2, so I can’t be too slow. War Drums might be a tricky play if I think I can get away with it, but that’s pretty doubtful. Guess I’ll see where things take me, I think legion has a good chance to knock me out but I’ll do my best!

Really at a loss, BK is a great tech against what I brought… Going to bring in Polymorph: Squirrel against it and Mox, and lay BROgre in sql to force it to trade and at least win on gold a little. I think I’ll probably tech Dinosize and Mythmaking? Max arg and maybe level Rook as well, or Bombaster to snipe a kill on that BK… I don’t think I’ll go at tech 2 but we’ll see [/details]

Debated doing something fun and flashy like this:
Drakk + Midband (4)
Arg and Tweetie Bird kill Onimaru, Drakk maxbands, you get a card
Big Bird kills Plexus, you get a gold
Bombaster, gains haste from Drakk maxband (2)
Makeshift Rambaster (0)
BROgre breaks your tech 1, your base to 18
Bombaster and rambaster hit your base to 11
But it would leave him with Mox, BK, and Nullcraft against only Drakk patrolling, with a killable Arg, Rambaster, and Bombaster behind for Zane and mox to ice mostly for free. I’d be able to go to blood tech 2 the next turn and work towards the remaining 10 base damage without a ton of trouble but it’d be really risky.
A stewardess will start to rain on my parade and I suspect he’s teched one, otherwise boot camping my brogre feels pretty unwise. I’m going for MoLaC with a decent chance to draw it and have multiple units on the board.

Well looks like I made the right call, MoLaC drawn was fortunate, MoLaC + haste was very fortunate, and with that I think it basically doesn’t matter what I tech, I’m set to draw into Rambaster and get charged no matter what he does. [/details]
GG WP @Legion! I did hit a pretty nice draw for that reshuffle there, though I did tech 2 copies of MoLaC so I’d be at least 50/50 even if you didn’t kill Bombaster, and 70% if you did (which I figured you would).
Yea the Oni turn really hurt you, getting my Brogre buff just to kill Rook wasn’t terribly effective, I think you’d have been better off going for tower and Stewardesses or Rewind maybe. At the least, killing Arg and patrolling the BK might have gone better
