Hmm, seems exceptionally unlikely he would lay Zane so vulnerable to nullcraft unless he was planning to use another hero. Think I’m safe to go River here and skip t1 for right now. Grabbing a discord and obv two step.
So, I could pay 4 gold to get rid of the Fargo, then another 3 to max Zane (eating River) skipping worker and dealing another 3 base damage. And also losing Rambaster on the swing back. Or just let River live, and block up (+deal an extra 2!)

Also, 2 damage is probably worth more than a worker at this point: on the next pass through my deck I can deal a clean 8 direct damage if I grab 2x Dark Pact… and I still have Gargoyle coming down next turn + Drakk & potential Crash Bombers to finish things off.

My Thoughts
I’m on the knife’s edge the rest of the game here. I risk losing straight up to surprise attack (I think that’s the likely tech for him) if I don’t max patrol. Need nullcraft to patrol SQL to keep Garg out. I think my best bet to win is actually teching up, as no way I win a base race down 13 on just tech 1. The usual grind out an advantage with Two Step + Mox isn’t going to survive long enough. So I think I tech up for Hive + … Xenostalker is a huge Kidnapping risk. I’ll grab an Omegacron, gives me solid card draw as well.
